Overview
Solitary fibrous tumor (SFT) is a rare mesenchymal neoplasm that originates from fibroblastic cells, most often arising in the pleura (the lining of the lungs) but can occur anywhere in the bodyâincluding the abdomen, head and neck, meninges, and extremities.
