Functional Neurological Symptom Disorder (Conversion Disorder)
Overview
Functional Neurological Symptom Disorder (FNSD), formerly known as conversion disorder, is a condition in which patients experience neurological symptomsâsuch as weakness, abnormal movements, gait problems, or sensory disturbancesâwithout an underlying structural disease that can be identified by conventional medical testing.
